I love my YJ Jeep Wrangler. Whether I’m commuting, occasionally wheeling, or just riding around topless in the greater Chattanooga, TN area that I call home there’s nothing quite like a Jeep. I love the sense of freedom and adventure my YJ inspires. You find when you drive a jeep, YJ or any type, you’re not alone considering the huge community of fellow jeepers that you suddenly belong to. Jeepers are people who usually love the open road and the great outdoors. My YJ is good for both.

I didn’t really know much about YJ Wranglers when I came across the opportunity to buy one from a friend. I knew I had always wanted a Jeep and the chance arose. I landed a great value on the YJ (you’d get sick if I told you). It was running good but needed a transmission and quite a bit of TLC. I took it on. The YJ has been nothing but fun and reliable since. In even my short time as a YJ owner I have learned a great deal. That’s what this site is about really.

While fixing up the YJ I spent hours getting familiar with the “ins and outs”. Sometimes I could go to the web and find answers to questions along the way while other times info was tough or impossible to locate. I’ve began this site to share what I’ve learned, and also to hopefully get to know some of you with a common interest in the YJ Jeep Wrangler.
